CalCare Now!
 

If you haven’t heard the news, CalCare has been reintroduced into the Assembly as AB 1900.

Now that the bill is introduced, it’s time to turn up the pressure. We know that legislators in Sacramento are already hearing from the for-profit health care industry. In order to drown out the industry lobbyists, we need to make it clear that there is an overwhelming amount of support for this proposal.

Can you sign up to print out a packet of key CalCare materials and deliver them to the nearest district office of a Democratic assembly member by Friday, February 20th?

We’ve put together a packet containing key information that will help us showcase to every assembly member the wide level of support for CalCare. This packet includes: a brand new CalCare Poll Brief that summarizes a statewide poll that we fielded just a few weeks ago, a list of constituents in their district who support CalCare, and a list of all 270+ organizations who support CalCare.

We have an ambitious goal of delivering these packets to the district offices of all 60 Democratic members of the Assembly by next Friday. If you can help deliver a packet to one or more offices by then, please sign up to receive the next steps!
